Tallinnas avatakse uus kohvik! | New Cafe opened in Tallinn!
Esmaspäeval, 5. detsembril 2005 kell 10.30 avab Tallinnas, Sokos Hotel Viru Konverentsikeskuses uksed programmi Euroopa Noored Kogemustekohvik.
Just sellise loosungi all läks 2. detsembril teele pressiteade. Märkamatult täitus tavapäratus kohvikustiilis konverentsisaal nende noorte ja organisatsioonide esindajatega, kes on Euroopa Noored kaasabil viinud ellu erinevaid projekte. Kohviku eesmärk oli luua mõttevahetus noorte haridusprogrammi väärtusest ja võimalustest Eesti noorte elu rikastamisel ja uute arenguväljavaadete pakkumisel.
See esmaspäev oli aga jäämäe nähtav osa – juba paar kuud varem kohtusime büroos, et koos leida parim viis kogemustest kõnelemiseks. Üks oli kindel – päev peab olema interaktiivne ning inimesi kaasav. Nii sai välja pakutud idee kasutada maailmakohviku (world cafe) meetodit. Idee kasvas ja hakkas elama iseseisvat elu ning kulmineerus enam kui 100 osavõtjaga Kogemustekohvikus.
Maailmakohvik on lihtne viis tuua kokku inimesi arutlema neile oluliste küsimuste ümber ning luua ühist teadmust. Kohviku eelduseks on arusaam, et inimesed tahavad rääkida asjadest, mis on neile olulised. Just seetõttu on kohvikus kesksel kohal vestlused, kus inimestel on võimalik õppida ja areneda.

New Café opened in Tallinn!
This slogan caught a lot of attention in the press release by Estonian National Agency of the “Youth” programme. On the 5th of December more than 100 people gathered in a traditional conference centre in an unusual way: exactly 10 min before 10.30 p.m. the doors of Experience Café were opened, soft music played in the corner, ladies in white aprons delivered coffee and tea for the quests. The room welcomed the participants in a café style: the room was full of small tables and green trees in the middle.
This event was a result of more than a 2-month preparation time when Piret helped to design an interactive and participative day using the world café method. The aim of the day was to find out what kind of value and impact has the Youth programme created in Estonia. The youth and the representatives of organisation whose projects were funded by European Youth Programme in 2003-2005 were invited to share their thoughts and talk about their experiences. This event proved that if the invitation is sent and a right atmosphere is created the right people would come and contribute their experiences, thoughts and ideas for the better quality of the programme.
